For those smaller budget gigs, we offer a variety of custom-designed flight packs. ATI pre-amps with D-Sub connectors interfaced with an HD Pro Tools rig and a set of head phones is a clean, stripped down way to get your live project recorded. Or, as custom as you like with a front end of Neve 1073/1081 modules, a rack of tube outboard gear and a couple of sweet Lexicon reverbs. We have supplied the likes of Paul McCartney live at Amoeba Music; Courtney Love at The Roxy; David Lee Roth at the House of Blues, Chicago; The Bangles at the House of Blues, Los Angeles; Barbra Streisand at home in Malibu; Snow Patrol in the KROQ studio; and many others. When the venue is as tight as the budget, our flight packs offer the perfect solution.......even at a moments notice. Alternatively, if the production calls for an experienced crew to interface with high definition video or a high profile event, consider the Design FX Remote truck. Its air conditioned control room provides a comfortable listening environment that enables more accurate mixing as well as facilitating more efficient trouble shooting. It comes equipped with everything from wireless communication to the stage to transformer isolated splitters, back-up recording systems and an assortment of microphones as well as much more.
