Design FX Systems department is the industry Professional’s lifeboat in the tumultuous sea of hard disk recording and editing. The Systems department was developed as an offshoot of our prestigious audio rental department in order to meet the ever changing needs of the digital recording industry. With Digidesigns™ ubiquitous Pro Tools systems having become the industry standard, we at Design FX Audio felt the necessity of developing a department whose sole responsibility was to immerse themselves into the wonderful world of Digidesign (hence the haggard appearance and sullen countenance). Over the last decade, we caught the crest of the Avid wave with our first PCI Pro Tools 3 Disk I/O system on an Apple 7300 computer, hung ten with Pro Tools|24 and Pro Tools|Mix systems, and are currently shooting the curl with Pro Tools|HD and the PCI-E equipped Apple Pro computers.
